सामवेद (अध्याय 24)
य इदं प्रतिपप्रथे यज्ञस्य स्वरुत्तिरन् । ऋतूनुत्सृजते वशी ॥ (११)
हे अग्नि! आप सत्य के मार्ग में आने वाली रुकावटों को दूर हटाते हैं. संसार को वशीभूत रखते हैं. आप की कृपा से संसार विस्तृत होता है. आप ऋतुओं का सृजन करते हैं. (११)
O agni! You remove obstacles in the path of truth. They keep the world subjugated. By your grace, the world expands. You create seasons. (11)
