सामवेद (अध्याय 6)
भ्राजन्त्यग्ने समिधान दीदिवो जिह्वा चरत्यन्तरासनि । स त्वं नो अग्ने पयसा वसुविद्रयिं वर्चो दृशेऽदाः ॥ (१)
हे अग्नि! आप चमचमाते हैं. आप का मुख प्रकाशित है. उस मुख में जीभ अग्नि की ज्वाला में डाली गई हवि खाती है. आप धन देने वाले हैं. आप अन्न व रमणीय धन दीजिए. (१)
O agni! You gleam. Your mouth is published. In that mouth, the tongue eats the havi inserted in the flame of agni. You are going to give money. You give food and delightful money. (1)
