यजुर्वेद:
उच्छुष्मा॒ ओष॑धीनां॒ गावो॑ गो॒ष्ठादि॑वेरते। धन॑ꣳ सनि॒ष्यन्ती॑नामा॒त्मानं॒ तव॑ पूरुष ॥ (८२)
जैसे गोशाला से गाएं जंगल में जाती हैं, वैसे ही यज्ञ का धुआं वायुमंडल में जाता है. अग्नि के शरीर से निकलती हुई लपट से उन की शक्ति और सामर्थ्य प्रकट होती है. (८२)
Just as cows from the cowshed go into the forest, the smoke of the yajna goes into the atmosphere. Their power and strength are revealed by the flame emanating from the body of agni. (82)
