यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 14)
अदि॑त्यास्त्वा पृ॒ष्ठे सा॑दयाम्य॒न्तरि॑क्षस्य ध॒र्त्री वि॒ष्टम्भ॑नीं दि॒शामधि॑पत्नीं॒ भुव॑नानाम्। ऊ॒र्मिर्द्र॒प्सोऽअ॒पाम॑सि वि॒श्वक॑र्मा त॒ऽऋषि॑रश्विना॑ध्व॒र्यू सा॑दयतामि॒ह त्वा॑ ॥ (५)
हम इस इष्टका को आदित्य देव की पीठ पर स्थापित करते हैं. इष्टका अंतरिक्ष को धारण करती है. आप सभी दिशाओं को स्थिरता प्रदान करती हैं. आप भुवनों की पत्नी और जल की तरंगों की तरह हैं. आप के द्रष्टा ऋषि विश्वकर्मा हैं. अश्विनीकुमार देवताओं के पुरोहित (अध्वर्यु) हैं. दोनों अश्विनीकुमार आप को इस स्थान पर प्रतिष्ठित करने की कृपा करें. We install this presiding deity on aditya dev's back. The presiding deity occupies space. You provide stability to all directions. You are like the wife of bhuvanas and waves of water. Your seer is Sage Vishwakarma. Ashwinikumar is the priest (Adhwaryu) of the gods. Both Ashwinikumars please to revere you at this place. (5)
