यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 16)
या ते॑ रुद्र शि॒वा त॒नूः शि॒वा वि॒श्वाहा॑ भेष॒जी। शि॒वा रु॒तस्य॑ भेष॒जी तया॑ नो मृड जी॒वसे॑ ॥ (४९)
हे रूद्र देव! आप कल्याण स्वरूप हैं. ओषधि की तरह बीमारी से मुक्त करने बाले हैं. शरीर को ताजगी देने बाले हैं. आप का वह स्वरूप हमारे लिए सुखदायी हो. (४९)
O Rudra Dev! You are a welfare form. Like medicines, there are free from disease. There are hairs to give freshness to the body. May that form of you be pleasant for us. (49)
