अध्याय 16 → मंत्र 51 - संस्कृत मंत्र, हिंदी अर्थ और English translation

यजुर्वेद:
मीढु॑ष्टम॒ शिव॑तम शि॒वो नः॑ सु॒मना॑ भव। प॒र॒मे वृ॒क्षऽआयु॑धं नि॒धाय॒ कृत्तिं॒ वसा॑न॒ऽआ च॑र॒ पिना॑क॒म्बिभ्र॒दा ग॑हि ॥ (५१)
हे रुद्र देव! आप अभीष्ट फलदाता व अतीव कल्याण करने बाले हैं. आप हमारे प्रति कल्याणकारी व अच्छे मन वाले होइए. आप वृक्ष की ठेठ ऊंचाई पर अपने आयुध रख दीजिए. पशुओं की खाल के वस्त्र धारण कर के पधारिए. आप केवल अपना धनुष धारण कर के आइए. (५१)
O Rudra Dev! You are the desired fruit giver and the ultimate welfare worker. You are kind and good-minded towards us. You place your weapons at the typical height of the tree. Wear clothes with animal skins. You just come with your bow. (51)
