यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 17)
ई॒दृक्षा॑सऽएता॒दृक्षा॑सऽऊ॒ षु णः॑ स॒दृक्षा॑सः॒ प्रति॑सदृक्षास॒ऽएत॑न। मि॒तास॑श्च॒ सम्मि॑तासो नोऽअ॒द्य सभ॑रसो मरुतो य॒ज्ञेऽअ॒स्मिन् ॥ (८४)
हे मरुद्गण! आप विविध कोणों से देखने वाले, समान कोण से देखने वाले, प्रत्येक समान कोण से देखने वाले मिश्रित कोण से देखने वाले, समान प्रकार के मिश्रित कोण से देखने वाले तथा समान अलंकारों के धारक हैं. आप आज हमारे इस यज्ञ में पधारें. आप के निर्मित यह आहुति अर्पित है. (८४)
O mary! You are a person looking from different angles, looking from the same angle, seeing from a mixed angle from each same angle, seeing from the same type of mixed angle, and holding the same ornaments. You come to this yajna of ours today. This sacrifice made by you is an offering. (84)
