अध्याय 28 → मंत्र 10 - संस्कृत मंत्र, हिंदी अर्थ और English translation

यजुर्वेद:
होता॑ यक्ष॒द् वन॒स्पति॑ꣳशमि॒तार॑ꣳ श॒तक्र॑तुं धि॒यो जो॒ष्टार॑मिन्द्रि॒यम्।मध्वा॑ सम॒ञ्जन् प॒थिभिः॑ सु॒गेभिः॒ स्वदा॑ति य॒ज्ञं मधु॑ना घृ॒तेन॒ वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑ ॥ (१०)
बनस्पति देव शांतिदाता, सैकड़ों यज्ञ करने वाले, बुद्धि योजक (जोड़ने बाले) और इंद्र देव से संबंधित हैं. वे पथ को सुगम बनाने बाले हैं. यज्ञ को मधुर हवियों से पूरते हैं. वे वनस्पति मधुर हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. होता उन वनस्पति देव के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (१०)
Banaspati Dev is related to the giver of peace, the performer of hundreds of yajnas, the intellectuals and the ones who unite Indra. They are supposed to make the path easier. Yajna is filled with sweet hawks. May they please accept the sweet vegetative havi. Please perform yajna for those plant gods. (10)
