यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 28)
होता॑ यक्ष॒त् तनू॒नपा॑तमू॒तिभि॒र्जेता॑र॒मप॑राजितम्। इन्द्रं॑ दे॒वस्व॒र्विदं॑ प॒थिभि॒र्मधु॑मत्तमै॒र्नरा॒शꣳसे॑न॒ तेज॑सा॒ वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑ ॥ (२)
इंद्र देव तेजस्वी, शरीर के रक्षक, अपने रक्षा साधनों से जीतने वाले और कभी नहीं हारने वाले हैं. होता उन के प्रति प्रसन्नतादायी आहुतियों से यज्ञ करते हैं. वे आत्मज्ञाता हैं. वे मधुर हवि ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. होता उन के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (२)
Indra Dev is stunning, the protector of the body, the winner with his defense means and never the loser. They perform yajna with happy offerings to them. They are self-conscious. Please take them to receive sweet havi. Please do yajna for them. (2)
