यजुर्वेद:
वरु॑णः प्रावि॒ता भु॑वन्मि॒त्रो विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभिः॑।कर॑तां नः सु॒राध॑सः ॥ (४६)
बरुण देव और मित्र देव संसार के मित्र हैं. वे अपनी पूरी क्षमता से अपने सभी रक्षा साधनों से हमारी रक्षा करने की कृपा करें. ये देव हमें श्रेष्ठ धनों से संपन्न बनाने की कृपा करें. (४६)
Barun Dev and Mitra Dev are friends of the world. May they please protect us with all their defence tools to the best of their ability. May these gods bless us with the best of wealth. (46)
