यजुर्वेद:
कार्षि॑रसि समु॒द्रस्य॒ त्वा क्षि॑त्या॒ऽउन्न॑यामि। समापो॑ऽअ॒द्भिर॑ग्मत॒ समोष॑धीभि॒रोष॑धीः ॥ (२८)
समुद्र तक पृथ्वी की उर्वरता के लिए आप को ऊपर की ओर उठाते हैं. इस जल के साथ जलों को मिला कर ओषधियां उत्पन्न होती हैं. ओषधियों को भी ओषधि के साथ मिलाया जाता है. (२८)
Lift you upwards for the fertility of the earth up to the sea. Medicines are produced by mixing water with this water. Medicines are also mixed with medicines. (28)
