अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 23
अ॑स्थि॒जस्य॑ कि॒लास॑स्य तनू॒जस्य॑ च॒ यत्त्व॒चि । दूष्या॑ कृ॒तस्य॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ लक्ष्म॑ श्वे॒तम॑नीनशम् ॥ (४)
हङ्डियों से उत्पन्न, त्वचा से उत्पन्न एवं इन दोनों के मध्यवर्ती मांस से उत्पन्न कुष्ठ रोग के कारण जो श्वैत चिह्न शरीर पर उत्पन्न हो गए हैं, उन्हें मैं मंत्र के प्रभाव से नष्ट करता हूं. (४)
I destroy the white marks that have been produced on the body due to leprosy originating from the bones, from the skin and from the intermediate flesh of both of them, with the effect of the mantra. (4)
