हे यजमान! दक्ष की संतान महर्षियों ने सौमनस्य को प्राप्त हो कर राजा शतानीक के लिए जिस निर्दोष स्वर्ण को बांधा था, वही स्वर्ण मैं तेरी दीर्घ आयु, तेज, बल, एवं सौ वर्ष की आयु पाने के लिए तुझे बांधता हूं. (१)
O host! The innocent gold that the Maharishis, the children of Daksha, had tied for King Shatanik by attaining harmony, the same gold, I bind you to get your long life, glory, strength, and hundred years of age. (1)
नैनं॒ रक्षां॑सि॒ न पि॑शा॒चाः स॑हन्ते दे॒वाना॒मोजः॑ प्रथम॒जं ह्ये॒तत् । यो बिभ॑र्ति दाक्षाय॒णं हिर॑ण्यं॒ स जी॒वेषु॑ कृणुते दी॒र्घमायुः॑ ॥ (२)
स्वर्ण बंधे हुए इस पुरुष को राक्षस और पिशाच पराजित नहीं कर सकते, वयोंकि यह देवों का प्रथम उत्पन्न हुआ ओज है. दक्ष पुत्रों से संबंधित इस स्वर्ण को जो बांधता है, वह प्राणियों के मध्य सौ वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त करता है. (२)
Demons and vampires cannot defeat this man tied to gold, because it is the first born oz of gods. The one who binds this gold related to daksha sons attains the age of a hundred years among the creatures. (2)
मैं जलों के तेज, ज्योति, ओज और बल तथा वनस्पतियों का वीर्य उसी प्रकार धारण करता हूं, जिस प्रकार इंद्र में इंद्रियों के असाधारण चिह्न वर्तमान हैं. इसीलिए वृद्धि प्राप्त करता हुआ यह पुरुष हिरण्य धारण करे. (३)
I hold the radiance, light, ez and force of the waters and the semen of the vegetation in the same way as the extraordinary signs of the senses are present in Indra. That is why this man should wear Hiranya while attaining growth. (3)
हे संपत्ति चाहने वाले पुरुष! मैं तुझे संवत्सरों की, महीनों की, ऋतु.ओं की एवं काल संबंधी दूध की धार से पूर्ण करता हूं. इंद्र और अग्नि तथा समस्त देव क्रोध न करते हुए तुझे संपन्नता की अनुमति दें. (४)
O property-seeking men! I complete you with the edge of samvatsaras, months, seasons and time-related milk. May Indra and Agni and all gods allow you prosperity without getting angry. (4)
