अथर्ववेद (कांड 10)
इ॒मे म॒यूखा॒ उप॑ तस्तभु॒र्दिवं॒ सामा॑नि चक्रु॒स्तस॑राणि॒ वात॑वे ॥ (४४)
ये खूटियां अर्थात् छः ऋतुएं स्वर्ग को धारण करती है तथा वस्त्र बुनने के लिए सामवेद के मंत्रों को धागा बनाए हुए हैं. (४४)
These pegs i.e. six seasons hold heaven and are making the mantras of Samaveda a thread to weave clothes. (44)
