अथर्ववेद (कांड 10)
बाला॒देक॑मणीय॒स्कमु॒तैकं॒ नेव॑ दृश्यते । ततः॒ परि॑ष्वजीयसी दे॒वता॒ सा मम॑ प्रि॒या ॥ (२५)
आत्मतत्त्व एक है. यह बाल से भी सूक्ष्म होने के कारण दिखाई नहीं देता. इस आत्मा का आलिंगन करने वाला देवता अर्थात् परमात्मा मुझे प्रिय है. (२५)
Self-essence is one. It is not visible due to being subtle even from the hair. The god who embraces this soul, that is, God, is dear to me. (25)
