अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 25
पञ्च॑ च॒ याः प॑ञ्चा॒शच्च॑ सं॒यन्ति॒ मन्या॑ अ॒भि । इ॒तस्ताः सर्वा॑ नश्यन्तु वा॒का अ॑प॒चिता॑मिव ॥ (१)
गले के ऊपरी भाग में स्थित पचपन प्रकार की गंड मालाएं गले के ऊपरी भाग की धमनियों को व्याप्त करती हैं. वे सब इस प्रकार नष्ट हो जाएं, जिस प्रकार पतिव्रता को पा कर सभी दोष नष्ट हो जाते हैं. (१)
Fifty-five types of gand malas located in the upper part of the throat permeate the arteries of the upper part of the throat. All of them should be destroyed in such a way that all the defects are destroyed by getting pativrata. (1)
