अथर्ववेद (कांड 6)
श॒तं या भे॑ष॒जानि॑ ते स॒हस्रं॒ संग॑तानि च । श्रेष्ठ॑मास्रावभेष॒जं वसि॑ष्ठं रोग॒नाश॑नम् ॥ (२)
हे रोगी पुरुष! जो सैकड़ों अथवा हजारों संख्या वाली ओषधियां रोग शांत करती हैं, यह कर्म उन सब में श्रेष्ठ एवं रक्तस्राव दूर करने वाला है. (२)
O patient man! Hundreds or thousands of medicines that calm the disease, this karma is the best in all of them and removes bleeding. (2)
