प्रसिद्ध एवं समृद्धि करने वाले हवि से यह पति पुनः प्रजा और पशु आदि से समृद्ध हो. विवाह करने वाले पिता आदि जिस पत्नी को इस के समीप लाए थे, उस पत्नी की दधि, मधु, घृत आदि से हवन किए जाते हुए अग्नि देव वृद्धि करें. (१)
