हे अग्नि! तुम गर्भ को नष्ट करने वाले राक्षस आदि को वश में करने में समर्थ हो, इसीलिए अपने दोनों हाथ फैलाओ तथा उन के द्वारा गर्भ का नाश करने वाले राक्षसों का विनाश करो. पुत्र आदि रूप प्रजा और उन के भोग के लिए धन प्रदान करते हुए अग्नि अपने हाथ फैला कर रक्षा करें. (१)
O agni! You are able to control the demons etc. who destroy the womb, so spread both your hands and destroy the demons who destroy the womb through them. Protect the agni by spreading your hands while providing money for the son etc. and the people and their enjoyment. (1)
हे कंकण! तुम गर्भ धारण करने के लिए गर्भाशय को विस्तृत करो. हे पत्नी! तुम अपने गर्भाशय में पुत्र को धारण करो तथा पति के आगमन पर मेरे मनचाहे पुत्र को जन्म दो. (२)
O pebbles! You expand the uterus to conceive. O wife! You should have a son in your uterus and give birth to my desired son on the arrival of your husband. (2)
पुत्र की इच्छा से देवता अदिति ने जिस कंकण को धारण किया, वही कंकण त्वष्टा देव मेरी इस पत्नी के हाथ में बांधें, जिस से यह पुत्र को जन्म दे सके. (३)
With the desire of the son, the kankan that the god Aditi wore, the same Kankan Tvashta Dev should tie it in the hand of this wife of mine, so that she can give birth to a son. (3)
