अथर्ववेद (कांड 6)

अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 90
यां ते॑ रु॒द्र इषु॒मास्य॒दङ्गे॑भ्यो॒ हृद॑याय च । इ॒दं ताम॒द्य त्वद्व॒यं विषू॑चीं॒ वि वृ॑हामसि ॥ (१)
हे रोगी! तेरे हाथ, पैर और हृदय आदि अंगों को बेधने के लिए रुद्र देव ने जो बाण अपने धनुष पर चढ़ा कर फेंका है, आज मैं उस का प्रतिकार करने के लिए उस बाण को तुझ से विमुख करने के लिए शरीर से दूर फेंकता हूं. (१)
O patient! Today, to resist the arrow that Rudra Dev has thrown on his bow to pierce your hands, feet and heart, today I throw that arrow away from the body to turn it away from you. (1)

अथर्ववेद (कांड 6)

अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 90
यास्ते॑ श॒तं ध॒मन॒योऽङ्गा॒न्यनु॒ विष्ठि॑ताः । तासां॑ ते॒ सर्वा॑सां व॒यं निर्वि॒षाणि॑ ह्वयामसि ॥ (२)
हे शूल रोगी! तेरे हाथ, पैर आदि अंगों में जो सैकड़ों धमनी नाड़ियां स्थित हैं, उन के लिए मैं विषरहित एवं शूलहीन ओषधियां बनाता हूं. (२)
O colic patient! I make poisonless and spineless medicines for the hundreds of arterial veins that are located in your hands, feet, etc. (2)

अथर्ववेद (कांड 6)

अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 90
नम॑स्ते रु॒द्रास्य॑ते॒ नमः॒ प्रति॑हितायै । नमो॑ विसृ॒ज्यमा॑नायै॒ नमो॒ निप॑तितायै ॥ (३)
हे व्याधि रूप अस्त्र चलाने वाले रुद्र! तुम को नमस्कार है. धनुष पर चढ़े हुए तुम्हारे बाण को नमस्कार है. धनुष से छोड़े जाते हुए तुम्हारे बाण को नमस्कार है. लक्ष्य पर गिरने वाले तुम्हारे बाण को नमस्कार है. (३)
O Rudra, who wields weapons in the form of disease! Hello to you. Salutations to your arrow mounted on the bow. Salutations to your arrow while being released from the bow. Salutations to your arrow falling on the target. (3)
