समि॑द्धेष्व॒ग्निष्वा॑नजा॒ना य॒तस्रु॑चा ब॒र्हिरु॑ तिस्तिरा॒णा । ती॒व्रैः सोमैः॒ परि॑षिक्तेभिर॒र्वागेन्द्रा॑ग्नी सौमन॒साय॑ यातम् ॥ (४)
अग्नि के भली-भांति दीप्त होने पर दो अध्वर्युओं ने घी से भरा पात्र लेकर सींचते हुए कुश फैलाए हैं. हे इंद्र और अग्नि! तीव्र मद करने वाले एवं चारों ओर पात्रों में भरे हुए सोम के कारण हमारे सम्मुख आओ एवं हम पर कृपा करो. (४)
When the fire is well lit, two of the disciples have taken a pot full of ghee and spread the watering kush. O Indra and Agni! Come before us because of the intensely intoxicating and full of vessels all around us and have mercy on us. (4)
