त्वम॒पाम॑पि॒धाना॑वृणो॒रपाधा॑रयः॒ पर्व॑ते॒ दानु॑म॒द्वसु॑ । वृ॒त्रं यदि॑न्द्र॒ शव॒साव॑धी॒रहि॒मादित्सूर्यं॑ दि॒व्यारो॑हयो दृ॒शे ॥ (४)
हे इंद्र! तुमने जल के अवरोधक मेघों को हटा दिया है एवं वृत्र आदि असुरों को पराजित करके उनका धन पर्वत पर छिपा दिया है. तुमने तीनों लोकों की हिंसा करने वाले वृत्र का वध किया एवं उसके तुरंत पश्चात्‌ संसार को देखने के लिए सूर्य को आकाश में चढ़ा दिया था. (४)
O Indra! You have removed the blocking clouds of water and have defeated the asuras like Vritra etc. and hid their wealth on the mountain. You killed the violent circle of the three peoples and immediately after that you raised the sun into the sky to see the world. (4)
