ऋग्वेद (मंडल 10)
स॒मा॒नमु॒ त्यं पु॑रुहू॒तमु॒क्थ्यं१॒॑ रथं॑ त्रिच॒क्रं सव॑ना॒ गनि॑ग्मतम् । परि॑ज्मानं विद॒थ्यं॑ सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑र्व॒यं व्यु॑ष्टा उ॒षसो॑ हवामहे ॥ (१)
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम्हारे पास एक ही प्रशंसित एवं बहुतों द्वारा आहूत रथ है. तीन पहियों वाला वह रथ यज्ञां में जाता है. हम उस चारों ओर घूमने वाले एवं यज्ञ के लिए हितकारी रथ को प्रतिदिन प्रातःकाल सुंदर स्तुतियों द्वारा बुलाते हैं. (१)
O aschinikumaro! You have the same acclaimed and many-called chariot. The three-wheeled chariot goes to the yagna. We call the revolving chariot around it and the benefactory chariot for the yagna every morning with beautiful praises. (1)

प्रा॒त॒र्युजं॑ नास॒त्याधि॑ तिष्ठथः प्रात॒र्यावा॑णं मधु॒वाह॑नं॒ रथ॑म् । विशो॒ येन॒ गच्छ॑थो॒ यज्व॑रीर्नरा की॒रेश्चि॑द्य॒ज्ञं होतृ॑मन्तमश्विना ॥ (२)
हे सत्य का पालन करने वाले एवं नेता अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम प्रातःकाल घोड़ों से युक्त होने वाले, प्रातःकाल चलने वाले एवं मधुकारक रथ पर बैठो. उसी रथ पर बैठकर तुम यज्ञशील प्रजाओं के समीप एवं स्तुतिकर्ता के ऋषियुक्त घर को जाते हो. (२)
O aschinikumaro, the leader and leader of the truth! Sit on a chariot full of horses in the morning, running in the morning and beeful. Sitting on the same chariot, you go near the sacrificial people and to the sagely house of the praiseor. (2)

अ॒ध्व॒र्युं वा॒ मधु॑पाणिं सु॒हस्त्य॑म॒ग्निधं॑ वा धृ॒तद॑क्षं॒ दमू॑नसम् । विप्र॑स्य वा॒ यत्सव॑नानि॒ गच्छ॒थोऽत॒ आ या॑तं मधु॒पेय॑मश्विना ॥ (३)
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम मुझ हाथ में सोम धारण करने वाले, शोभनहस्त, शक्तिशाली, दानेच्छुक एवं अग्नि का आधान करने वाले अध्वर्यु के पास आओ. यदि तुम किसी बुद्धिमान् यजमान के यज्ञों में जा रहे हो, तब भी उन यज्ञों को छोड़ कर हमारा सोमरस पीने के लिए आओ. (३)
O Ashwinikumaro! Come to the one who holds the monam in my hand, the adorned, the mighty, the grainy and the one who is the one who is worshiping the agni. If you are going to the yagnas of a wise man, still leave those yajnas and come to drink our somras. (3)
