विप्रा॑सो॒ न मन्म॑भिः स्वा॒ध्यो॑ देवा॒व्यो॒३॒॑ न य॒ज्ञैः स्वप्न॑सः । राजा॑नो॒ न चि॒त्राः सु॑सं॒दृशः॑ क्षिती॒नां न मर्या॑ अरे॒पसः॑ ॥ (१)
मरुद्गण यज्ञ में स्तोत्र बोलने वाले मेधावी स्तोताओं के समान शोभन यान वाले, यज्ञों द्वारा देवों को तृप्त करने वाले, यजमानों के समान शोभन कर्म वाले, राजाओं के समान पूजनीय व दर्शनीय तथा गृहस्वामी मानवों के समान पापरहित होते हैं. (१)
In the Marudgan Yajna, the meritorious hymns who speak hymns are as well as the meritorious hymns, those who satisfy the gods by the yagnas, those who satisfy the gods by the yajnas, those with adornment deeds like the hosts, the worshipers and the housewives are as worshipable and visible as the kings, and the homeowners are as sinless as the human beings. अ॒ग्निर्न ये भ्राज॑सा रु॒क्मव॑क्षसो॒ वाता॑सो॒ न स्व॒युजः॑ स॒द्यऊ॑तयः । प्र॒ज्ञा॒तारो॒ न ज्येष्ठाः॑ सुनी॒तयः॑ सु॒शर्मा॑णो॒ न सोमा॑ ऋ॒तं य॒ते ॥ (२)
मरुद्गण अग्नि के समान तेज से सुशोभित, स्वर्णालंकारों से युक्त वक्षःस्थल वाले, वायु के समान स्वयं मिलने वाले व शीघ्र गतिशाली, उत्तम ज्ञानियों के समान पूज्य तथा शोभन नयन एवं मुख वाले सोम के समान यज्ञ में जाते हैं. (२)
Deserts go to the yagna like a som with a warm and adorned with agni, with a breast-place with golden ornaments, self-fulfilling and quick-moving, like the best wise, as the best wise, and adorned like the som with the mouth. (2)

वाता॑सो॒ न ये धुन॑यो जिग॒त्नवो॑ऽग्नी॒नां न जि॒ह्वा वि॑रो॒किणः॑ । वर्म॑ण्वन्तो॒ न यो॒धाः शिमी॑वन्तः पितॄ॒णां न शंसाः॑ सुरा॒तयः॑ ॥ (३)
मरुद्गण वायु के समान शन्रुओं को कंपित करने वाले व गतिशील, अग्नि की ज्वालाओं के समान सुंदर मुख वाले, कवचधारी योद्धाओं के समान शर्य कर्म करने वाले एवं पितरों के वचनों के समान शोभन दानी हैं. (३)
Marudgans shake the enemies, moving as the wind, with beautiful faces like flames of agni, perform gallantry deeds like armored warriors, and adorning the words of the pitars (ancestors). (3)

रथा॑नां॒ न ये॒३॒॑ऽराः सना॑भयो जिगी॒वांसो॒ न शूरा॑ अ॒भिद्य॑वः । व॒रे॒यवो॒ न मर्या॑ घृत॒प्रुषो॑ऽभिस्व॒र्तारो॑ अ॒र्कं न सु॒ष्टुभः॑ ॥ (४)
मरुद्गण रथ के पहियों के अरों के समान एक आश्रय से संबंधित, जयशील शूरों के समान दीप्ति वाले, दान करने वाले मानवों के समान जल गिराने वाले एवं शोभन स्तोत्र करने वालों के समान उत्तम शब्द वाले हैं. (४)
The Marudganas belong to a shelter like the arrows of the wheels of the chariot, with a radiant like the Jayasheel Shurs, as the ones who drop water like the donating human beings, and the best words as the ones who do shobhan stotra. (4)

अश्वा॑सो॒ न ये ज्येष्ठा॑स आ॒शवो॑ दिधि॒षवो॒ न र॒थ्यः॑ सु॒दान॑वः । आपो॒ न नि॒म्नैरु॒दभि॑र्जिग॒त्नवो॑ वि॒श्वरू॑पा॒ अङ्गि॑रसो॒ न साम॑भिः ॥ (५)
मरुद्गण घोड़ों के समान प्रशंसनीय एवं शीघ्रगति वाले, धन धारण करने वाले रथस्वामियों के समान शोभन दानयुक्त, सरिताओं के समान जल लेकर जाने वाले तथा अनेक रूपधारी अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियों के समान सामगान करने वाले हैं. (५)
The deserts are as admirable and quick-moving as horses, with wealth-holding chariots, with a daint like a chariot-carrying swayams, carrying water like the saritas, and who sing like many forming Angiragotrian sages. (5)

ग्रावा॑णो॒ न सू॒रयः॒ सिन्धु॑मातर आदर्दि॒रासो॒ अद्र॑यो॒ न वि॒श्वहा॑ । शि॒शूला॒ न क्री॒ळयः॑ सुमा॒तरो॑ महाग्रा॒मो न याम॑न्नु॒त त्वि॒षा ॥ (६)
मरुद्गण जल बरसाने वाले, मेघों के समान नदियों के निर्माता, ध्वंसक वज्र के समान सदा श्रुनाशकर्ता, शोभन माताओं वाले, बच्चों के समान क्रीड़ाशील एवं विशाल जलसमूह के समान चलते समय दीप्ति से युक्त हैं. (६)
The deserts are water-pouring, the builders of rivers like the clouds, the destroyers like the thunderbolt, the eternal devotees like the destructive thunderbolt, the adornment mothers, the children-like playful and the radiant when walking like a huge pool of water. (6)

उ॒षसां॒ न के॒तवो॑ऽध्वर॒श्रियः॑ शुभं॒यवो॒ नाञ्जिभि॒र्व्य॑श्वितन् । सिन्ध॑वो॒ न य॒यियो॒ भ्राज॑दृष्टयः परा॒वतो॒ न योज॑नानि ममिरे ॥ (७)
मरुद्गण उषाओं की किरणों के समान यज्ञ का आश्रय लेने वाले, कल्याण की कामना करने वाले, वरों के समान आभूषणें से सुशोभित, नदियों के समान गतिशील एवं चमकीले आयुधों व दूर जाने वाले पथिकों के समान दूर देश तक जाने वाले हैं. (७)
The deserts are going to go as far as the rivers of the rivers, who take shelter in the yagna like the rays of the ushas, who wish for welfare, adorned with ornaments like the brides, are as dynamic as the rivers and the bright armaments and the paths that go away. (7)

सु॒भा॒गान्नो॑ देवाः कृणुता सु॒रत्ना॑न॒स्मान्स्तो॒तॄन्म॑रुतो वावृधा॒नाः । अधि॑ स्तो॒त्रस्य॑ स॒ख्यस्य॑ गात स॒नाद्धि वो॑ रत्न॒धेया॑नि॒ सन्ति॑ ॥ (८)
हे देव मरुतो! तुम स्तुतियों से बढ़कर हम स्तुति करने वालों को शोभन धन एवं रत्नों से युक्त करो तथा हमारे सखा रूप स्तोत्र को स्वीकार करो. तुम सदा से हमें रत्न दान करते आए हो. (८)
O God Maruto! You, more than the praises, let us equip those who praise with bounty, wealth and gems, and accept our hymn in our form. You have always been donating gems to us. (8)
