वी॒ळौ स॒तीर॒भि धीरा॑ अतृन्दन्प्रा॒चाहि॑न्व॒न्मन॑सा स॒प्त विप्राः॑ । विश्वा॑मविन्दन्प॒थ्या॑मृ॒तस्य॑ प्रजा॒नन्नित्ता नम॒सा वि॑वेश ॥ (५)
धीर एवं मेधावी सात अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियों ने पर्वत में बंद गायों का पता लगा लिया था. पर्वत पर गायों को जानकर वे जिस मार्ग से घुसे थे, उसी से गायों को निकाल लाए. उन्होंने यज्ञ की साधनरूप सब गायों को प्राप्त किया. इंद्र ने अंगिरागोत्रीय ऋषियों का कर्म जानकर उन्हें नमस्कार द्वारा आदर दिया एवं उस पर्वत में घुस गए. The patient and the meritorious seven Angiragotrian sages had discovered the cows locked in the mountain. Knowing the cows on the mountain, they took the cows out of the path through which they had entered. He received all the cows as a means of yajna. Indra, knowing the deeds of the Angiragotrian sages, honored them with a salutation and entered the mountain. (5)
