इन्द्रः॒ स्वाहा॑ पिबतु॒ यस्य॒ सोम॑ आ॒गत्या॒ तुम्रो॑ वृष॒भो म॒रुत्वा॑न् । ओरु॒व्यचाः॑ पृणतामे॒भिरन्नै॒रास्य॑ ह॒विस्त॒न्व१॒ः॑ काम॑मृध्याः ॥ (१)
इंद्र स्वाहा शब्द द्वारा दिए गए सोम को पिएं. जिन इंद्र का यह सोमरस है, वे यज्ञ में आकर विध्नकर्तताओं की हिंसा करने वाले, कामवर्षी एवं मरुतों से युक्त हैं. परम व्यापक इंद्र हमारे द्वारा दिए गए सोम आदि से संतुष्ट हों एवं हमारा दिया हुआ हव्य इंद्र के शरीर की इच्छाएं पूरी करे. (१)
Drink the som given by the word Indra Swaha. The Indra, whose Somras is, comes to the yagna and is full of the violence of the evildoers, the kamavarshis and the maruts. May the Supreme Comprehensive Indra be satisfied with the som etc. given by us and may our given havya fulfill the wishes of Indra's body. (1)

आ ते॑ सप॒र्यू ज॒वसे॑ युनज्मि॒ ययो॒रनु॑ प्र॒दिवः॑ श्रु॒ष्टिमावः॑ । इ॒ह त्वा॑ धेयु॒र्हर॑यः सुशिप्र॒ पिबा॒ त्व१॒॑स्य सुषु॑तस्य॒ चारोः॑ ॥ (२)
हे इंद्र! तुम यज्ञ में शीघ्र पहुंच सको, इसलिए हम तुम्हारे रथ में परिचारक रूप घोड़े जोड़ते हैं. पुरातन तुम उन घोड़ों की गति के अनुसार चलते हो. हे सुंदर ठोड़ी वाले इंद्र! घोड़े तुम्हें यज्ञ में लावें. तुम आकर सुंदर एवं भली-भांति निचोड़ा गया सोम पिओ. (२)
O Indra! You can reach the yajna early, so we add horses in your chariot as attendants. Archaic you walk according to the speed of those horses. O beautiful chin Indra! Let the horses bring you to the yagna. You come and drink the beautiful and well-squeezed mon. (2)

गोभि॑र्मिमि॒क्षुं द॑धिरे सुपा॒रमिन्द्रं॒ ज्यैष्ठ्या॑य॒ धाय॑से गृणा॒नाः । म॒न्दा॒नः सोमं॑ पपि॒वाँ ऋ॑जीषि॒न्सम॒स्मभ्यं॑ पुरु॒धा गा इ॑षण्य ॥ (३)
ऋत्विज् अभिलषित फल देने वाले एवं स्तुतियों द्वारा प्रसन्न किए जाने योग्य इंद्र को श्रेष्ठता और चिरायु प्राप्ति के निमित्त गोदुग्ध मिले सोम से प्रसन्न करते हैं. हे सोम के स्वामी इंद्र! तुम प्रसन्न होते हुए सोमपान करो एवं हम स्तोताओं को यज्ञकर्म के निमित्त बहुत सी गाएं दो. (३)
The ritvajs please Indra, who gives the desired fruits and is pleased by the praises, with the godly found som for the sake of excellence and longevity. O Lord Indra of Mon! You must do sompan while you are happy and we will give many songs to the stotas for the sake of the yagnakarma. (3)

इ॒मं कामं॑ मन्दया॒ गोभि॒रश्वै॑श्च॒न्द्रव॑ता॒ राध॑सा प॒प्रथ॑श्च । स्व॒र्यवो॑ म॒तिभि॒स्तुभ्यं॒ विप्रा॒ इन्द्रा॑य॒ वाहः॑ कुशि॒कासो॑ अक्रन् ॥ (४)
हे इंद्र! हमारी इस धनाभिलाषा को गायों, घोड़ों एवं दीप्तियुक्त धन से पूरा करो. इन संपत्तियों द्वारा हमें प्रसिद्ध बनाओ. स्वर्गादि सुख के अभिलाषी एवं यज्ञकर्म में कुशल कुशिकगोत्रीय ऋषियों ने मंत्रं द्वारा यह स्तुति की है. (४)
O Indra! Fulfill this wealth of ours with cows, horses and bright wealth. Make us famous by these properties. Kushikgotriya rishis, who are seekers of heavenly happiness and skilled in yajnakarma, have praised this through mantras. (4)

शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम् ॥ (५)
धनप्राप्ति वाले संग्राम में उत्साहपूर्ण, धनवान्, सकल विश्व के नेता, स्तुतियां सुनने वाले, शत्रुओं को भयंकर, युद्ध में राक्षसविनाशकारी एवं शत्रुओं के धन के विजेता इंद्र को हम रक्षा के लिए बुलाते हैं. (५)
We call indra, who is enthusiastic in the rich struggle, the leader of the world, the leader of the world, the hearer of praises, the fiercest of the enemies, the demon destroyer in the war and the winner of the wealth of enemies. (5)
