अन॑स्वन्ता॒ सत्प॑तिर्मामहे मे॒ गावा॒ चेति॑ष्ठो॒ असु॑रो म॒घोनः॑ । त्रै॒वृ॒ष्णो अ॑ग्ने द॒शभिः॑ स॒हस्रै॒र्वैश्वा॑नर॒ त्र्य॑रुणश्चिकेत ॥ (१)
हे सकल मानवों के नेता, साधुओं का पालन करने वाले, अतिशय ज्ञानसंपन्न, बलवान्‌ एवं धनस्वामी अग्नि! वृष्ण के पुत्र त्रयरुण नामक राजर्षि ने गाड़ी सहित दो बैल एवं दस हजार स्वर्ण मुद्राएं मुझे दीं. इस दान से वह प्रसिद्ध हो गया. (१)
O leader of the sakal human beings, the followers of the sadhus, the most knowledgeable, the strong and the wealthy agni! Rajarshi, named Trayrun, the son of Vrishna, gave me two bullocks and ten thousand gold coins along with the car. From this donation he became famous. (1)
