त्यस्य॑ चिन्मह॒तो निर्मृ॒गस्य॒ वध॑र्जघान॒ तवि॑षीभि॒रिन्द्रः॑ । य एक॒ इद॑प्र॒तिर्मन्य॑मान॒ आद॑स्माद॒न्यो अ॑जनिष्ट॒ तव्या॑न् ॥ (३)
अद्वितीय इंद्र ने अकेले ही हिरन के समान तेज चलने वाले वृत्र के आयुधों को अपनी शक्ति द्वारा नष्ट किया. उस समय वृत्र के शरीर से दूसरा बलवान्‌ राक्षस उत्पन्न हुआ. (३)
The unique Indra alone destroyed the armaments of the warriors, which were as fast as the deer, by his power. At that time, a second strong demon arose from Vritra's body. (3)
