प्र वो॑ मरुतस्तवि॒षा उ॑द॒न्यवो॑ वयो॒वृधो॑ अश्व॒युजः॒ परि॑ज्रयः । सं वि॒द्युता॒ दध॑ति॒ वाश॑ति त्रि॒तः स्वर॒न्त्यापो॒ऽवना॒ परि॑ज्रयः ॥ (२)
हे मरुतो! तुम्हारे दीप्त, जगत्‌ की रक्षा के लिए जल के इच्छुक, अन्न की वृद्धि करने वाले, चलने के लिए रथ में जोड़ने वाले सभी ओर गमनशील, बिजली के साथ संगत होने वाले व तीन स्थानों में शब्द करने वाले गण प्रकट होते हैं एवं जलराशि धरती पर गिरने लगती है. (२)
O Maruto! Your hapht, desirous of water to protect the world, those who increase food, those who join the chariot to walk, are seen on all sides moving, compatible with electricity and speaking words in three places, and the water sign begins to fall on the earth. (2)
