ऋग्वेद (मंडल 6)
यो र॑यिवो र॒यिंत॑मो॒ यो द्यु॒म्नैर्द्यु॒म्नव॑त्तमः । सोमः॑ सु॒तः स इ॑न्द्र॒ तेऽस्ति॑ स्वधापते॒ मदः॑ ॥ (१)
हे धन के स्वामी एवं स्वधारूप सोम के रक्षक इंद्र! जो सोमरस धन से अत्यंत युक्त एवं दीप्त यशों के कारण परम तेजस्वी है, वह सोमरस निचुड़ने पर तुम्हें प्रसन्नता दे. (१)
O Lord of wealth and protector of Swadharupa Soma Indra! The Somras, who is extremely possessed of wealth and the most glorious because of the bright glory, may the Somras give you happiness when you are free. (1)

यः श॒ग्मस्तु॑विशग्म ते रा॒यो दा॒मा म॑ती॒नाम् । सोमः॑ सु॒तः स इ॑न्द्र॒ तेऽस्ति॑ स्वधापते॒ मदः॑ ॥ (२)
हे अतिशय सुखदाता एवं स्वधारूप सोमरस के रक्षक इंद्र! जो सोम तुम्हें परम सुखकारक एवं स्तोताओं को धन देने वाला है, वही सोमरस निचुड़ने पर तुम्हें प्रसन्नता दे. (२)
O Indra, the most comforter and protector of the swayamdharup somras! The soma which is going to give you the ultimate pleasure and give wealth to the hymns, may the same Somras give you happiness when it is removed. (2)
ऋग्वेद (मंडल 6)
येन॑ वृ॒द्धो न शव॑सा तु॒रो न स्वाभि॑रू॒तिभिः॑ । सोमः॑ सु॒तः स इ॑न्द्र॒ तेऽस्ति॑ स्वधापते॒ मदः॑ ॥ (३)
हे सोमरूप अन्न के रक्षक इंद्र! तुम जिस सोमरस को पीकर परम बलवान् बनते हो एवं अपने रक्षक मरुतों के साथ मिलकर शत्रुओं का नाश करते हो, वही सोमरस निचुड़ने पर तुम्हें प्रसन्नता प्रदान करे. (३)
O Somrupa the protector of the food Indra! May the Somras, which you drink and become the supreme force and destroy the enemies together with your protectors, the same Somaras may give you happiness when they are deserted. (3)
ऋग्वेद (मंडल 6)
त्यमु॑ वो॒ अप्र॑हणं गृणी॒षे शव॑स॒स्पति॑म् । इन्द्रं॑ विश्वा॒साहं॒ नरं॒ मंहि॑ष्ठं वि॒श्वच॑र्षणिम् ॥ (४)
हे यजमानो! हम तुम्हारे कल्याण के निमित्त भक्तों पर अनुग्रह करने वाले, शक्ति के स्वामी, सभी शत्रुओं को हराने वाले, यज्ञकर्म के नेता, अतिशय दाता एवं सबको देखने वाले इंद्र की स्तुति करते हैं. (४)
O hosts! We praise Indra, who has been gracious to the devotees for your welfare, the lord of power, who defeats all enemies, the leader of yajnakarma, the most forgiving and the seer of all. (4)
ऋग्वेद (मंडल 6)
यं व॒र्धय॒न्तीद्गिरः॒ पतिं॑ तु॒रस्य॒ राध॑सः । तमिन्न्व॑स्य॒ रोद॑सी दे॒वी शुष्मं॑ सपर्यतः ॥ (५)
इंद्र संबंधी स्तुतियों द्वारा इंद्र का शत्रुधनहर्ता बल बढ़ता है. दिव्य धरती-आकाश उसी बल की सेवा करते हैं. (५)
Indra's enemy strength increases through the praises of Indra. The divine earth-sky serve the same force. (5)
ऋग्वेद (मंडल 6)
तद्व॑ उ॒क्थस्य॑ ब॒र्हणेन्द्रा॑योपस्तृणी॒षणि॑ । विपो॒ न यस्यो॒तयो॒ वि यद्रोह॑न्ति स॒क्षितः॑ ॥ (६)
हे स्तोताओ! इंद्र के लिए अपने स्तोत्र की महत्ता बढ़ाओ. इंद्र सर्वकार्य कुशल व्यक्ति के समान सदा तुम्हारी रक्षा करते हैं. (६)
This stotao! Increase the importance of your hymn to Indra. Indra always protects you like a skilled man of all work. (6)
ऋग्वेद (मंडल 6)
अवि॑द॒द्दक्षं॑ मि॒त्रो नवी॑यान्पपा॒नो दे॒वेभ्यो॒ वस्यो॑ अचैत् । स॒स॒वान्स्तौ॒लाभि॑र्धौ॒तरी॑भिरुरु॒ष्या पा॒युर॑भव॒त्सखि॑भ्यः ॥ (७)
इंद्र यज्ञकर्म में कुशल यजमान को जानते हैं. मित्र एवं अत्यंत ताजा सोमरस पीने वाले इंद्र स्तोताओं के लिए श्रेष्ठ धन देते हैं. हव्यरूप अन्न से युक्त एवं धरती को कंपित करने वाले मरुतों के साथ रहने वाले इंद्र स्तोताओं की रक्षा की अभिलाषा से आते हैं एवं उनकी रक्षा करते हैं. (७)
Indra knows the skilled host in yajnakarma. Friends and those who drink extremely fresh somras give the best money to Indra stotas. Indra, who lives with the maruts containing food grains and vibrating the earth, comes and protects the stothas with the desire to protect them. (7)

ऋ॒तस्य॑ प॒थि वे॒धा अ॑पायि श्रि॒ये मनां॑सि दे॒वासो॑ अक्रन् । दधा॑नो॒ नाम॑ म॒हो वचो॑भि॒र्वपु॑र्दृ॒शये॑ वे॒न्यो व्या॑वः ॥ (८)
यज्ञ के मार्ग में सबको देखने वाला सोमरस पिया गया है. इंद्र का मन अपनी ओर खींचने के लिए सोम ऋत्विजों द्वारा तैयार किया गया है. इंद्र शत्रुपराभवकारी एवं महान् शरीर धारण करते हुए हमारी स्तुतियों से प्रसन्न होकर आविर्भूत हों. (८)
The somras that see everyone in the path of the yajna has been drunk. Indra's mind has been prepared by the Som Ritvijs to draw towards him. May Indra, the enemy, be pleased with our praises, wearing a great body and a great body. (8)
