अध्याय 3 → मंत्र 15 - संस्कृत मंत्र, हिंदी अर्थ और English translation

यजुर्वेद:
अ॒यमि॒ह प्र॑थ॒मो धा॑यि धा॒तृभि॒र्होता॒ यजि॑ष्ठोऽअध्व॒रेष्वीड्यः॑। यमप्न॑वानो॒ भृग॑वो विरुरु॒चुर्वने॑षु चि॒त्रं वि॒भ्वं वि॒शेवि॑शे ॥ (१५)
हे अग्नि! आप प्रथम हैं. आप देवताओं को आमंत्रित करते हैं. आप यज्वान हैं. यज्ञ में पुरोहितों द्वारा आप की उपासना और स्थापना की जाती है. आप को आप्नवान और भृगु आदि ऋषियों ने समय-समय पर वनों में प्रज्वलित किया. आप विलक्षण हैं. (१५)
O agni! You are the first. You invite the gods. You are Yajwan. You are worshiped and established by the priests in the yajna. You were ignited in the forests from time to time by the sages like Apnwan and Bhrigu etc. You are fantastic. (15)
