यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 3)
अक्ष॒न्नमी॑मदन्त॒ ह्यव॑ प्रि॒याऽअ॑धूषत। अस्तो॑षत॒ स्वभा॑नवो॒ विप्रा॒ नवि॑ष्ठया म॒ती योजा॒ न्विन्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ॥ (५१)
इम ने यज्ञ में जो हवि पितरों के लिए प्रदान की है, उसे पितरों ने स्वीकार कर लिया है. स्वीकार कर के उस हवि का सेवन भी कर लिया है. स्वयं प्रकाशित ब्राह्मणों ने नई ऋचाओं से स्तुति शुरू कर दी. हे इंद्र! अब इस यज्ञ में पधारने के लिए हरी नामक घोड़ों को रथ में जोतने की कृपा कीजिए. (५१)
The ancestors have accepted the havi that I have provided for the ancestors in the yajna. He has also accepted that havi. Self-published Brahmins started praising with new verses. O Indra! Now please plough horses called Hari in the chariot to come to this yajna. (51)
