यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 3)
सु॒स॒न्दृशं॑ त्वा व॒यं मघ॑वन् वन्दिषी॒महि॑। प्र नू॒नं पू॒र्णब॑न्धुर स्तु॒तो या॑सि॒ वशाँ॒२ऽअनु॒ योजा॒ न्विन्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ॥ (५२)
हे इंद्र! आप धनवान हैं. आप सभी को अच्छी और समान दृष्टि से देखते हैं. हम सब आप की उपासना करते हैं. आप निश्चय ही हम सभी के पूर्ण बंधु हैं. आप स्तुति करने वालों के वश में रहते हैं.आप उन की स्तुतियों का अनुकरण करते हैं. आप उन की इच्छा पूरी करने के लिए रथ में हरी नामक घोड़ों को जोतने की कृपा कीजिए. (५२)
O Indra! You are rich. You look at everyone well and equally. We all worship you. You are certainly the complete brother of all of us. You are under the control of those who praise. Please plough horses called Hari in the chariot to fulfill their wishes. (52)
