यजुर्वेद:
मनो॒ न्वाह्वा॑महे नाराश॒ꣳसेन॒ स्तोमे॑न। पि॒तॄ॒णां च॒ मन्म॑भिः ॥ (५३)
हम वीर पुरुषों की गाथाओं को गाने वाले मंत्रों से पितरों को आमंत्रित करते हैं. हम पितरों को मन से बार-बार आमंत्रित करते हैं. (५३)
We invite the ancestors with mantras that sing the stories of brave men. We invite the ancestors again and again from the heart. (53)
