यजुर्वेद:
त्रि॒पादू॒र्ध्व उदै॒त्पुरु॑षः॒ पादो॑ऽस्ये॒हाभ॑व॒त् पुनः॑।ततो॒ विष्व॒ङ् व्यक्रामत्साशनानश॒नेऽअ॒भि ॥ (४)
परम पुरुष के तीन पैर ऊर्ध्वलोक में समाए हुए हैं. एक भाग में इहलोक समाहित है. जड़, चेतन सभी इस के इस पैर में समाहित हैं. (४)
The three legs of the Supreme Personality of Godhead are embedded in the vertical world. One part contains this world. The root, the conscious are all contained in this leg of this. (4)
