यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 8)
एज॑तु॒ दश॑मास्यो॒ गर्भो॑ ज॒रायु॑णा स॒ह। यथा॒यं वा॒युरेज॑ति॒ यथा॑ समु॒द्रऽएज॑ति। ए॒वायं दश॑मास्यो॒ऽअस्र॑ज्ज॒रायु॑णा स॒ह ॥ (२८)
दस माह के गर्भ के जरायु के साथ जाइए. जैसे यह वायु जाती है, जैसे यह समुद्र जाता है, वैसे ही आप दस मास के जरायु के साथ उत्पन्न हुए. (२८)
Go with the jaw of ten months' gestation. Just as this air goes, as it goes to the sea, so you were born with ten months of old age. (28)
