अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 25
धातः॒ श्रेष्ठे॑न रू॒पेणा॒स्या नार्या॑ गवी॒न्योः । पुमां॑सं पु॒त्रमा धे॑हि दश॒मे मा॒सि सूत॑वे ॥ (१०)
हे धाता! इस नारी की आंतों से निकले मूत्र को मूत्राशय में ले जाने वाली जो नालियां दोनों पसलियों की ओर स्थित हैं, उन में स्थित पुत्र गर्भ को पुष्ट करो, जिस से यह दसवें मास में प्रसव कर सके. (१०)
O dhata! The son located in the drains that carry the urine from the intestines of this woman into the bladder, which are located towards both ribs, should strengthen the womb, so that she can deliver in the tenth month. (10)
