अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 25
त्वष्टः॒ श्रेष्ठे॑न रू॒पेणा॒स्या नार्या॑ गवी॒न्योः । पुमां॑सं पु॒त्रमा धे॑हि दश॒मे मा॒सि सूत॑वे ॥ (११)
हे त्वष्टा! इस नारी की आंतों से निकले मूत्र को मूत्राशय में ले जाने वाली जो नाड़ियां दोनों पसलियों की ओर स्थित हैं, उन में स्थित पुत्र गर्भ को पुष्ट करो. जिस से यह दसवें मास में प्रसव कर सके. (११)
