हमारे शत्रु का क्रोध शांत हो तथा उस का तिरस्कार नष्ट हो. उस के द्वारा ताने गए आयुध विफल हों. हमारे शत्रुओं की भुजाएं आयुध उठाने में असमर्थ हों. हे शत्रुनाशक इंद्र! तुम उन शत्रुओं के बल को विमुख करो. इस के पश्चात उन शत्रुओं का धन हमारे समीप लाओ. (१)
Let the anger of our enemy be calmed and his contempt be destroyed. The warheads taunted by it fail. The arms of our enemies should be unable to lift the armament. O destroyer Indra! You turn away the force of those enemies. After this, bring the wealth of those enemies to us. (1)
हे देवो! असुरों का बाहुबल समाप्त करने के लिए तुम जो हिंसक बाण चलाते हो, मैं उस बाण रूप देवता को दिए जाने वाले हवि से अपने शत्रु की भुजाओं को काटता हूं. (२)
O God! To end the muscle power of the asuras, the violent arrow you shoot, I cut the arms of my enemy with the havi given to that arrow-form deity. (2)
इंद्र ने सब से पहले अपने शत्रु असुरों को भुजबल विहीन किया था. युद्ध में दृढ़ एवं हमारे सहायक इंद्र की सहायता से मेरे योद्धा शत्रुओं को पराजित करें. (३)
