जो शत्रु सेना ले कर हम से युद्ध करने आता है, हम उसे अपने निवास स्थान से निकालते हैं. हमारे शत्रुओं को मारने में समर्थ हवि के द्वारा इंद्र इस शत्रु की हिंसा करें, जिस से यह लौट कर न आए. (१)
Whoever comes to fight with us with the enemy army, we remove him from his place of residence. Indra should do violence to this enemy through the ability to kill our enemies, so that it does not return. (1)
इंद्र के द्वारा प्रेरित हमारा शत्रु तीनों भूमियों और निषाद आदि पांच जनों को पार कर के दूर वहां चला जाए, जहां से वापस न आए. जब तक सूर्य आकाश में रहे, तब तक वह अनेक वर्षो तक न लौटे. (३)
Inspired by Indra, our enemy should cross the three lands and five people like Nishad and go away from where they do not come back. As long as the sun was in the sky, it did not return for many years. (3)
