यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 12)
इन्द्रं॒ विश्वा॑ऽअवीवृधन्त्समु॒द्रव्य॑चसं॒ गिरः॑। र॒थीत॑मꣳ र॒थीनां॒ वाजा॑ना॒ सत्प॑तिं॒ पति॑म् ॥ (५६)
सभी वाणियां समुद्र के समान विस्तृत हैं. वे वाणियां रथियों में महारथी इंद्र देव की महिमा का गुणगान करती हैं. इंद्र देव बलवानों में सर्वाधिक बलशाली हैं. इंद्र देव पालकों में शरेष्ठ पालक हैं. (५६)
All the winds are as wide as the sea. Those vanis praise the glory of Maharathi Indra Dev in the chariots. Indra Dev is the most powerful of the strong. Indra Dev is the best parent among the guardians. (56)
